About Sharon
Casting one's eyes over Sharon McGee's credentials, professional accomplishments and accolades can make you dizzy. If you look a little deeper you will also see that alongside her many years as President and CEO of a successful mechanical construction company, she serves on numerous boards and as an OSHA instructor, fights mightily for free enterprise and volunteers untold hours to the American Red Cross. Sharon has not only raised a family but worked hard so that she could put her children, Michelle and Justin, though college; finds time to be with her grandchildren, Madi and Abby; runs marathons; and teaches Leadership at her church. Sharon also never forgets to send a thank you note or to ask after someone important to you.

So, yes, Sharon has much to offer when it comes to time management; let alone leadership and business management, ethics, keeping customers happy, the efficient use of one's energy and what sparks the imagination. To every gathering to every gathering, Sharon McGee brings her marvelous sense of humor and engaging tales of lessons learned and a career built in the trenches.

But know this. Sharon McGee is not driven by success or money or even the accolades. It is an old time missionary spirit that fuels her. One learned at the knee. For as Sharon puts it, "I was blessed to be raised by huge hearts."

Sharon learned the importance of caring for others at a very young age from her grandfather, Dr. William Rasmussen. She watched him be the first to come to the aid of those less fortunate in the United States and China. He is remembered very proudly by those who were touched by his gift, in San Luis Obispo, California.

Sharon's parents are living examples of helping others, whenever a need arises. Their doors are always open. Thus. Sharon and her two sisters, Karon and Connie, and one brother, Jim, not only witnessed of their parents while growing up, they started at a very early ago volunteering for the American Red Cross, local health clinics in Amarillo, Texas, and for the Girl and Boy Scouts of America.

Life, then as it is now, was all about pitching in, caring for others and doing what you could do to help.

It takes a team.
