It
is only natural that Sharon gravitated toward Safety.
The life she learned about as a child was all about
saving lives. Bringing out the sand bags. Helping people
across illness or a busy street. It seems too that God
gave Sharon eyes to see potential hazards. It's true.
Sharon walking the jobsite with you can be a rude awakening.
For she misses nothing and she cares deeply about ensuring
that employers provide a safe worksite for every employee.
But Sharon makes safety fun. Safety for Sharon is not
just a cumbersome and confusing manual. It is exciting.
She can breathe simplicity and new life into any regulation;
she has an uncanny ability to make the incomprehensible
not only easily understood, but real, pertinent and
possible.
Throughout her many years as President and CEO of a
successful mechanical construction firm in Austin, Texas,
safety has always been first on her mind for her employees,
clients and the industry. Sharon has many hilarious
stories to tell of lessons learned the hard way. She
will leave you laughing; but more importantly, she will
leave you eager to make the most out of OSHA's minimal
standards - and have fun doing so.

"Hi Sharon,
I wanted to take the time to share with you how
much I enjoyed the TEEX/OSHA 510 class that you
taught in Baton Rouge, La. Coming into the class,
I expected to struggle with the lack of excitement
in learning CFR material, but that was far from
the case. The format of the material and your
presentation were anything but boring. Your knowledge
of the regulations and own experiences are very
impressive. As a person, (not just as a woman)
you have accomplished so much and continue to
be involved in all that life has to offer you.
The many things that mean so much to you are what
make you the wonderful person you are. From your
community involvement, the passion for your own
company & employees, the strong desire to
help others in industry keep their people safe,
to your commitment to family & Christ shine
like the sun through your personality!
Thanks again, my friend!

"I had the best time in this class. I was
nervous about coming into learning about safety,
but Sharon made it a blast! I learned so much
in the course and I will come back anytime to
further my education in safety or construction.
Sharon made this class the best for everyone.
No one missed a class because of her enthusiasm.
She has opened up our eyes to many things. She
has networked for us and invited us all to other
classes and organizations in the construction
field and other things. This was a great week."

"Just a note to say thank you for the fun
filled class that I attended. You are a super
person in all that you are a part of. Doing things
for your community and your employees is what
life is all about. Thanks for being a friend and
a Christian for all you stand for and do. I hope
to be in another school with you in the future.
Again, thanks for the memories. In addition, I
completed the OSHA 500 with Eric Stephan where
I learned many new ways to instruct our employees.
However, he is not the Energizer Bunny. Thanks
for the memories."

"Hello Sharon,
Hope your doing well. We thank you for your teachings
and your patience. I hope I did not talk too much
during our class; I was just trying to show the
guys how to incorporate what we were learning
to what we do everyday. Your passion shows in
your teaching and the way you approach a class.
In talking to all the guys on the various jobsites
on Monday, the opinions were unanimous. You were
a big hit! We try to teach and show our people
the correct way to approach all the different
safety issues. They all said they learned a lot
and really enjoyed the session. Look forward to
working with you in the future. Thanks again."

"Sharon,
I must say I really enjoyed attending your class.
I was highly impressed with your ability to take
a dry subject matter and add humor and personal
life experiences to make the class interact with
each other. You inspire me to obtain my CSHO certification
and improve my company's safety program as a result.
I hope I will get the opportunity to attend one
of your classes in the future or attend a class
with you. On a personal note, please convey to
your family that they are very lucky to have you
in their life. Based on the week I spent with
you and listening to the stories you told, you
appear to be an awesome mother, wife, and woman.
Good luck to you and keep spreading your message
of safety in the wonderful way that you do."

"Sharon,
You are definitely motivating! As you know, the
material in these classes can get a bit slow,
but you make it interesting, keep people awake,
and most of all act like you care if we succeed.
Thanks for everything."
