| Sharon McGee's credentials, professional accomplishments
and accolade can make you dizzy. She is President/CEO
of a successful mechanical construction company, serves
on several boards, is an OSHA instructor, fights for free
enterprise, volunteers, runs marathons all while raising
a family and now enjoys time with her grandchildren. She
is not driven by success or money or even accolades. It
is an old time missionary spirit learned at an early age.
Her parents are living examples of helping others, whenever
the need arises. Life, then as it is now, is all about
pitching in, caring for others and doing what you can
do to help. It takes a team. This is what you will discover
about Sharon and for yourself-the magic of a huge heart.
The Five C's of Excellence in Supply Management is
an inspirational examination of the skills and aptitudes
necessary to excel in Supply Management; along with
what it takes in willingness and hard work to develop
and nurture our ability to communicate well and
to be connected, conscientious, confident,
and constant.
These skills are, at once, obvious and elusive, innate
and arduously acquired, and difficult to achieve yet
decidedly simple. They lie at the heart of any job well
done; they are the jewels of our trade. Just like an
old and forgotten metal supply cabinet can be a treasure
trove of items seldom used, but missed indeed, each
"skill" discussed (and its dazzling facets)
will sparkle anew with Sharon's imaginative approach,
down to earth suggestions, sense of humor and contagious
enthusiasm.

"Dear Sharon,
What a privilege and a pleasure to meet you. I
had so much fun on the first trip up and then
throughout the whole week. I want to tell you
that the day that Ken spoke and you came down,
grabbed my arm, and told me that I could do that
was a day that changed my life. Not only is that
a huge compliment for me, but that is what I want
to do. I had your card mounted and framed because
it is very significant to me and where my life
is headed now. I hope that you made it home safely
and that you too are fired up about the new directions
your company will and most certainly expand. I
do hope to keep in touch with you for you are
one of the most personable people I have ever
met. I hope to be that engaging with a bunch of
strangers someday."

"Howdy Sharon,
It was truly a pleasure being a part of class.
Not only was it very informative, but enjoyable
as well. The topics you discussed with us will
be of benefit on the job, and more importantly
in my marriage. I do need to work on "Affirmation."
With the Lord's help and guidance, I will be a
better husband, father, and person. I really enjoyed
how the author showed the importance of having
a "spiritual" relationship with our
Lord and Savior. Thank you for letting us know
how important the Lord is in your life, both professionally
and spiritually. I do hope that we will continue
to stay in contact beyond this block of instruction.
From one Texan to another (although not originally
from Texas), I wish you and your family an outstanding,
God blessed weekend. Take care of yourself and
I hope to see you in the near future. Thanks for
taking time out of your family's vacation to spend
time with us. We were truly blessed by your presence!
Until next time."

"I have reviewed the evaluations from your leadership
class and was actually moved to tears by some
of the comments from your students. These students
recognized more than just your hard work - they
acknowledged your commitment and passion for your
message. When students describe a course as "life
altering," you have touched their heart and mind.
Congratulations to you both."
