Sharon McGee of Austin awarded Congressional
Medal of Distinction -
NRCC Chairman Tom Reynolds and National Republican
Congressional Committee announced today that Sharon
McGee has been chosen as a 2006 Congressional Medal
of Distinction Winner.
Mrs. McGee was selected based on unyielding support
of the Republican Party, outstanding leadership
in business and contributions to the local economy.
Only an elite group of business and professional
people were nominated to receive the award before
the awards selection committee reached a final decision.
Commenting on Mrs. McGee's selection, Congressman
Reynolds said, "Mrs. McGee has served as an
Honorary Chairman of the Business Advisory Council
and has provided much needed support. This award
could not have gone to a more deserving candidate. |

The National Republican Congressional Committee
announced today that Sharon McGee of Austin, Texas
has been named 2006 Republican of the year.

APPOINTED TO
BUSINESS ADVISORY COUNCIL
WASHINGTON D.C.- The National Republican Congressional
Committee announced that Sharon McGee has been appointed
to service on the Business Advisory Council in recognition
of valuable contributions and dedication to the
Republican Party.
McGee will serve the State of Texas and is expected
to play a crucial role in the Party's efforts to
involve top business people in the process of government
reform.
The BAC is part of the National Republican Congressional
Committee, and is dedicated to making sure that
small business has a voice in Washington.
McGee, who has long supported Republican ideals,
particularly debt reduction and tax reform, will
be a key member of the council. |
